SUMMARY: The Stockroom Clerk I is responsible for routine assignments involving the movement of inventory items based on established departmental policies and procedures within a climate controlled environment PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sorting, counting and checking raw materials, finished parts, and semi-finished parts Researching part numbers; issuing materials, supplies, components and parts from stock Placing materials and supplies on shelves in proper storage locations according to identifying factors, such as style, size, or type of material Filling orders from requisitions; counting or documenting shortages Report picked material into computer system Perform data queries on inventory information using a hand-held RF device Ensure product is organized per FIFO methods Report discrepancies or issues to team lead and/or supervisor Weekly cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods Follow policies and procedures in handling specific sensitive materials Maintaining files and documentation as necessary Maintain stockroom housekeeping JOB SKILLS REQUIRED: Must work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with great attention to detail Able to operate materials handling equipment to include barcode scanners and electronic scales Basic computer skills

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of Inventory handling experience Experience in the avionics industry highly preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work- This role requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Most essential functions are performed while standing. Must be able to perform physical labor including: climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, and other motions required in the performance of normal material handling duties. Visual acuity is required due to large number of small parts This role is subject to indoor environmental conditions. The stockroom is typically kept at 69 F with low humidity
